1. Cattle were used to turn a thick grinding wooden stick which crushed oil seeds in a cylindrical drum.
2. Thick Babool shafts are used to grind the seeds against the inner wall of a cylinder.
3. This Process is now done using machines instead of cattle, but the apparatus has remained the same.
4. The oil thus produced is drained to the bottom, which is later filtered for use.
